Yogi Adityanath Ban the DJ-loudspeaker at Dussehra, Muharram
Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has banned playing DJs and loudspeakers during Durga Puja, Dussehra and Muharram. In order to maintain peace and harmony during the festivals, the Chief Minister held a high level meeting in view of security in the state. After this meeting, the government has issued guidelines to all the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police. According to the Government of UP, ban on playing DJs and loudspeakers during the ceremony will be banned. However, with some conditions the loudspeaker will be allowed to play. Apart from this, guidelines have also been issued to create separate ways for immersion and Tazia procession Yogi Adityanath banned DJ-Loudspeaker At Dussehra and Muharram.
According to the Government, the height of the Durga statue and height of the Tazia has also been determined. Sources said that in view of the major challenge of maintaining law and order in the state, the Chief Minister held a review meeting of the state with senior officials on Saturday (September 16). The four-day Dussehra festival is going to start from September 26, which will run till September 30. Vijaya Dashmi is on 30th September while Muharram is on 1 October. History of violence during the loudspeaker playing and procession in the state is old. Therefore, Yogi Government has organized special security arrangements to celebrate the peaceful festival. It is feared that on October 1, Tazia’s procession and Durga statue can spoil anti-social elements during immersion. Therefore, the administration has clearly instructed that the path of both the procession should be decided separately. All the organizers have been asked to inform the administration in writing about this.
